Blended Learning Courses English IELTS News Training

Advanced IELTS courses coming to Saigon

We will soon be introducing new IELTS training courses to Vietnam. Our courses are designed so that trainers can focus on both the topics and skills that their students need the most help with, and benefit from the latest technology and materials to help students progress quickly.

Classroom training will follow units based on common IELTS topics and each unit contains practice in all four skills. Each class starts with a clear objective so students are clear as to what they need to achieve.

All our classroom and course book materials provide high-quality preparation with the chance to practice each skill both in the classroom and at home. Students receive all listening files, audio scripts and answer keys to help them study, and our website provides extra resources for each level.

In addition to attending classes, we provide 40 hours of online study for Reading and Writing, Listening and Speaking, Language Building  plus Grammar and Vocabulary. This is included in each course and set for homework by our teachers. There are 8 hours of online practice per skill. The receptive skills of reading and listening follow different topics than those in our course book (to give students additional vocabulary), while the productive skills of speaking and writing follow the same topics as those in the course book (to provide more practice).

Continuous assessment and feedback is given throughout the course using authentic practice materials. This helps students to understand their strengths and weaknesses  and improve their average band score. By the end of each course, each student will have completed two IELTS examinations under exam conditions (with easier writing practice for Foundation students).

Academic Study Skills (optional)

A further 6 hours of online study is available for students getting ready for a university course taught in English.

Level 1 and 2 courses start in early November, with Foundation and Level 3 following in mid-November.
